This New Year’s Eve, the only reflecting we’re doing is through the glitter on our eyes. Sparkle all the way into 2022 with this multidimensional look that steers away from the safety of warm golds and right into trending cool tones of silver and violet. The disco ball’s got nothing on this. Press play! Base Build definition and depth on the eyelids with a warm-toned eyeliner (we used Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon in Amethyst Aphrodisiac) taken across the lash line and blended out with the bull et brush side of Stila’s Double-Ended Eyeshadow Brush. Glitter With the other end of the brush, pat a violet glitter (such as Stila Glitter & Glow Eyeshadow in Tulip Twinkle) on the inner and outer corners of the eye. Ma ke the eyes pop with a second, lighter glitter (such as Stila Glitter & Glow Eyeshadow in Diamond Dust) pressed into the centre of the lid using Hourglass All Over Eyeshadow Brush. Mascara For lifted, voluminous lashes, add Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara – layer it on for more drama! (It is New Year’s, after all.) Lips A clear gloss pairs perfectly with the glitter (and makes your lips look plumper). bareMinerals Mineralist Lip Gloss-Balm gives you that high-shine look with a non-sticky lip balm feel. Mist Finish with three or four spritzes of Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist to set, illuminate and keep skin glistening all over until the ball drops.
